Hey!! My name is Azarria but you can call me “Z”. I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, and now a 200 hr Registered Yoga Teacher.  I’ve helped a range of clients achieve and maintain their health & fitness goals since 2016. Whether it is a post-injury corrective exercise program, a pre or postnatal program, wanting to build muscle and lose fat, or now take their yoga practice to new levels I have built a career around helping others become the best version of themselves. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

My Journey

Oddly enough my passion for fitness stemmed from my passion for the Arts. My degree is in Fine Arts: Musical Theatre. I spent the first half of my life singing, dancing, acting, and using my talents to help bring others joy, for fun as a child and professionally after I graduated college. In my experience health and fitness go hand in hand with the performing arts so making the career transition happened naturally. Be it preparing for a role, an audition, or helping others achieve their fitness goals I’ve spent all of my adult life prioritizing my health for my well being, for my clients, and now my business.

Fitness for me has always been way more than working out and dieting its the journey of taking care of yourself mentally and physically through every stage of your life. Through the ups and down, the twists and the turns in my life one thing that has always been there is my passion for health and wellness. It hasn't only fueled me physically but its been there for emotionally as a safe space for self discovery. 

Fitness With Z is my passion project. It launched in 2020 during covid as a way to take control of my destiny and stand in my power. It took a brief pause while I decided to be a fire fighter and serve my community in a new way for a living but my true passion never left me. In fact the time away from it started to build a fire in me to relaunch my business and take a leap of faith to go all in. 

Ive decided long ago that I don't want my health and wellness to feel like a chore and I want the same for my work life. I want to wake up everyday and do something that excites me. And that is creating a safe, sustainable, and empowering fitness journey for each and every single individual who works with me.
